Type 2 Diabetics on Metformin

DESCRIPTION:

In this research study we will be testing an investigational medication, to evaluate the safety and tolerability of the investigational tablets combined with existing treatment of Metformin as single doses in subjects with type 2 diabetes.  You will be required to take 10 tablets of study medication at a time for three days, water will be available.

ABOUT THE DRUG:

This is an investigational drug designed to treat Diabetes.  Study participants must have Type 2 Diabetes.  This study is for research purposes only and is not intended to treat a medical condition.  Your contributions today may benefit generations to come. 

LENGTH OF STUDY:

Qualified participants must be able to come to our research center for: a Screening Visit to determine your eligibility. One Inpatient Stay: 17 Days /16 Nights. Final Visit: 5 days after inpatient stay. The study will last approximately 8 weeks.

REQUIREMENTS:

•  Age 18 to 79
•  Males or Females
•  Must take at least 1000 mg Metformin daily

COMPENSATION:

Qualified participants will receive up to $4,500
